Meet Mrs. Dieringer
Welcome to my 2nd grade classroom! This is my second year at Hallettsville Elementary. Last year I taught 3rd grade and I am excited about trying out a new gradelevel. I previously taught 4 years in Georgetown, Texas.We were finally able to move "back home" to Hallettsville after the birth of our second child. It is so nice being able to be close to our family and be apart of a place where we have always wanted our children to grow up!
I have 2 children that keep me very busy outside of school. Alli (4) is in Pre-K at HES, and Colton (2) attends Sacred Heart Day Care. My children are my life and I enjoy every moment outside of school with them and my husband.
I truly believe that my second family is my school family! My goals as a teacher are to not only teach your child the curriculum they need toknow to advance in the school system, but to also instill characteristics in their personality to become strong confident young men and women. I treat each student as if they were my own child and expect a lot out of them. I expect them to be responsible for their work and their actions and to accept consequences appropriately when they are not. I know that throughout the year there are highs and lows but in the end my studnets and I have a relationship based on trust and respect! This is what I believe makes wodnerful citizens.
